Highlights

👕 The Perth Bears announced another major partnership before joining the NRL in 2027, with New Balance as apparel partner. New Balance is now the clear leader in sportswear sponsorships, with 15 new partnerships in 2025, and now with a presence in NRL.

🍸 In a busy week for RTDs, ISLA joined Cricket Victoria, complementing their AFL sponsorships (Saints and Demons) in winter. Meanwhile, South Ave signed with Sydney FC, their first partnership outside of 3 in SA (where the brand is headquartered), as the brand expands its national footprint.

🚗 Budget Car Hire joins the Parramatta Eels as official partner, and the first-ever NRLW back of shorts sponsor. Car Hire sponsorships are especially prevalent in NRL (10 deals) and in NSW (15 deals), meaning that Budget wrestles back sponsorship share in competitive markets.
